Situated in a leafy Surrey village, The King William IV offers a quality gastro pub experience in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. We have tried to combine contemporary details and a modern quality offer, without losing any of the traditional character of this beautiful historic building.

Welcoming well-trained staff, fresh flowers, hand written specials boards, well kept Real Ales and perfectly served wine; these are all part of the attention to detail that we strive to achieve, in order to deliver a consistently satisfying experience to you, the customer.

During the colder months you can gather round a roaring log fire and in the Summer, dine alfresco in the beer garden or have a glass of chilled wine on the patio terrace.

The King William offers a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, with a fantastic wine list – we have over 11 wines by the glass - and there is always a local Surrey produced Real Ale on tap.

The full menu is available where ever you want to sit in the pub; informal comfort dining on the sofa, in the bar area, around the fireplace, or you can have friendly, more formal full table service in the light and airy Conservatory Restaurant that overlooks the well kept rear garden and decked patio area.

Our new Head Chef and his kitchen team produce mouth watering specials on a daily basis – check the blackboards and ask the bar staff for what is on offer that day.
 

The Pub is very popular with Walkers and Ramblers as it is so close to many local places of interest - Royal Horticultural Society's Wisley Gardens is minutes away and the National Trust has Hatchlands Park, Clandon Park and Polesden Lacey all near by. Then 10 minutes away is Painshill Park, one of the finest 18th century landscape parks in Europe.

Children are welcome and we always have a large selection of toys and board games, plus a kid’s menu. We even have water bowls to cater for your thirsty pets after that long walk through the Surrey Hills!

Smokers welcome!! We have created 2 outdoor smoking areas that are water proof and heated, so if you are a committed smoker you can do so in comfort at our pub.
